Better late than never, but I forgot to post my Supermoon photo. It was taken on May 4, 2012, just after 11:35 p.m. (eastern time) when it was at its fullest and brightest. 

My photo was even featured on Huffington Post’s live blog of Supermoon photos on its Science page. Check it out!

A Plumbago flower, un-altered. It was cropped, however.

I recently discovered this tiny blue flower called Plumbago. Although they are normally baby blue in nature, I decided to drastically adjust the contrast and midtone colors of the photo to get this deep, electric blue hue. I liked the result.
